Because I'm going to be traveling at the end of next week, it feels like our October teleseminar is coming right on the heels of our last one. But it's a great follow-on because the topic builds on our recent social media teleseminar.
On Tuesday October 13 at 1 pm (Pacific), Kimberly L. Sanberg from Ignitus will do a presentation called "Proven Integrated Fundraising Techniques." She'll be explaining how you can engage your supporters and reach your fundraising goals by integrating traditional fundraising techniques like direct mail with online media like email and Facebook to create an engaged community of passionate supporters.
We uploaded a PDF of the slides for the presentation to the NAPRP Web site, so you can download them before the call: http://www.naprp.com/. On the right-hand side under Announcements, you'll find the link next to Kimberly's presentation description.
If you prefer, you also can view the slides on the Ignitus web site using their cool SlideShare viewer.
Just looking at the slides gives you an idea of how interesting this presentation is going to be. Kimberly will explain how you can create an engaged community and then launch a fundraising compaign. The slides show examples from some excellent Web sites too. The samples are not only appealing to look at, but they also incorporate the power of storytelling to get the message across.
As most of you know, I'll be doing a fundraising workshop at the No More Homeless Pets conference on October 23 in Las Vegas, so I've been immersing myself in all things fundraising. I can't wait to hear what Kimberly has to say. Although my workshop will be based on information from my book Funds to the Rescue, I figure the more ideas I can cram into my brain before the conference, the better. There's always more to learn!
As always thanks for all you do to help the animals!
