I just got back from the vet and the white dog that many of you may know from the covers of my books Happy Hound and Funds to the Rescue is not doing well. I know you'll understand when I say many tears have been shed and I have no idea how I'm going to say goodbye to this dog. Cami has been such a huge presence in our life for a long time. It's just heartbreaking in a way only other "animal people" like you can really know.
Anyway, I'll try and suck it up here long enough to tell you that we had a great teleseminar last Tuesday with Trey Burley. He shared a lot of great insights into the world of public relations. Of course the recording is available in the private member area of the NAPRP web site (which you can access if you're a Golden Paw member), but Trey said he may also post it on his upcoming newly revamped Web site at http://www.treyburley.com too, so keep an eye out for it.
In other news, because of a sort of overwhelming workload related to running one publishing business and two associations, I'm considering dropping the frequency of this newsletter to every other week. If you have strong feelings pro or con, please let me know. Because many of you are super busy, getting this newsletter less frequently might actually be a good thing.
As always, thank you for all you do to help the animals!
