Today, I have teleseminars on my mind. Some of you may have noticed that there hasn't been a member teleseminar in January. Unfortunately, we had a scheduling snafu.
In December, I thought I had someone lined up and we had a conference call scheduled earlier this month to talk it over. The two people who were supposed to attend never showed up for the call and didn't respond to my emails or phone messages.
I gotta say that I really hate being stood up and I have a far, far lower opinion of this organization than I did before. It's just plain rude. I mean, how hard is it to say, "I changed my mind"?
Anyway, that's the long way of saying that I'm still lining up teleseminars for the rest of the year, but we'll probably have two in February. I've got some cool folks I'm talking to now (veterinarians, behaviorists, humane organizations, authors and more). The good news is that once we get to the point of talking dates, people are serious.
In other news, this year I'm going to open up the live versions of the teleseminars to anyone. That means if you're getting the newsletter, you'll know the date, time, and call in number, so you can attend. If there are topics, organizations, or people that you'd like included, let me know and I'll try and set them up. The recordings will continue to be archived in the member area of the NAPRP Web site.
